Hey guys. I'm new to posting here on the forum but I've been browsing through it for a while now. I just wanted some feedback for these photos. I took them while out doing field work for school.

C&C per req:

1. A nice image, but could be much nice with more foreground detail. A graduated ND filter, or multiple exposures combined into an HDR would have taken this from 'nice' to 'really nice'.

2. A road. A road in the dessert... To be honest, there's really nothing to hold my eye. The pavement makes an excellent leading line, but it doesn't lead to anything. The image also appears to lean somewhat to the left.

3. A weak sky and foreground shadows are holding this image back. Since this was clearly an early morning/late evening shot, a polarizing filter would have really made things pop here. I think a shooting position in front of the small group of foreground rocks would have helped as well.

Just my $00.02 worth - your mileage may vary.

ALL very good C&C points from Tirediron. I'd tend to agree with all his comments. The guy is a good C&C giver.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I will try to remember these things next time I'm out taking pictures. I'll have to fool around with the multiple exposure shots. I haven't done many of them. I agree with all the comments also, things I just have to improve one.
