SDXC card RX100 VI card help

This is what Sony said to me. Which is faster, U3 or class 10? What would you recommend I get? I want 32gb, which would land me in SDXC, correct? Also, what brand?

I use U3 Class 10 needed for 4k movies on my RRX100iv.

Get a spare card too and an extra battery while you're at it The RX100 is a power hog.

U3 would be best. Class 10 has a minimum write speed of 10MB/s where U3 has a minimum write speed of 30MB/s.

Why do they list both Class 10 and U3 in the specs for the same card?

Because class and speed ratings measure different aspects of the card's performance. Class measures sustained transfer rate, this is the important factor when recording or replaying movies whereas the speed rating measures the maximum transfer burst rate which is what you are generally interested in when shooting or viewing single or short bursts of images.
