Sea Monster !!!!!!!

Ok it was a pond and not the sea but the sea was angry my friends !!!!


Ok so it wasn't actually a pond either, it was more of a canal along an old bog but it was still angry !!!


The waters started to boil and from the dark depth of the canal the monster appeared :hail:





And then he came for me




And then as fast as he appeared he was gone.




I was lucky to escape with my life, the stick wasn't as lucky

He is absolutely beautiful, every time I see him he is always on the hunt for a stick. Even if he has one he just drop it and goes for the new one. I wish I could have captured the dive for that one, it was a good one !!!

I didn't realize I was being watched by 3 hooded mergansers while I was taking this shot. As soon as I looked down they flew off. Unfortunately there were trees between me and them







I only kept this one as I was impressed with the 7100's ability at 6400 ISO.

I think I've had it about a month now, i'm on vacation this week so hopefully I get some decent weather to find some birds.
