When you're out and about walking the streets watch the people walking towards you. How many are walking with their heads down? I was surprised by how many I noticed today. And whilst you're doing that, see how many times you catch yourself doing it.

And... It's amazing how much a smile and a "morning" can change people. Even that guy rolling towards you looking like he's about to jack you can be really nice. You just need to say hello.

Yeah, I used to be in the habit of avoiding contact with people on the street, but I've gotten a lot better at it. I notice a lot of people don't like to be greeted or even look at you, and you don't even really get a chance to say hello. Kinda sad, really...
