It's a 13 image composite shot @ F/1.4 using the Brenizer method. Looks better as a large print.

that brenzier stuff is quite interesting and i hadn't come across it before, thanks for sharing it. I'm a sucker for narrow DoF.

Very good series and hard to pick at so i guess i'll just enjoy them! However i do feel that his look and pose with the graduation clothing don't suit each other in shot number 4.

Fully agree.... we let them know what types of outfits they should wear... offer suggestions... etc. It's of course ultimately up to the client... this is what he showed up in.
