Shooting-eyes open or closed?

I said that I always shoot with bot eyes open, I guess that isn't 100% accurate - sometimes I do close my left eye, but I keep both open more often than not.

I also shoot in portrait orientation maybe 80% of the time, so my camera isn't in the way of my left eye at all most of the time.

I shoot with the left eye, but I almost always keep both open.

I have to use my left eye since devoloping some vision problems with my right one... Both eyes open now, but the right eye doesn't see much since it is behind the camera back..

I find it difficult to shoot with my eyes closed lol

I keep both my eyes open while shooting the normal way, my camera blocks my other eye, so I dont have to close it. When Im shooting the other way, I keep my non shooting eye (I tend to switch eyes a lot. might be because im left handed and I have a right handed camera (or a normal camera....) so I do whatever is comfortable at the moment) closed while focusing and open while waiting for something to happen.
