Shutter count

Hey I've found the shutter count on my 2nd hand D80 is 38000+, does anyone know if this is excessive, thanks folks.

If taken in one sitting, yes that would be excessive. Otherwise that's not bad for a camera of that age.

38,000 clicks on a D80? Not bad! The camera should have plenty of life left in it with only 38,000 clicks.

I’m not sure of the d80 but I think most are good for 100k?

I would (edit)not(/edit) worry until it quits working. Some last forever,some only a long time. Either way keep shooting and enjoy.
