It does improve the speed but 50 percent is reaching,a lot.Every little improvement helps and having the dock on hand is great.I have done two updates already and customization and the Lens is far better then it was out of the box.

Where did you get your lens,I assume you where past a 30 day exchange or less and had to go through warranty.

The wife got it. The local ma & pa store has a two week exchange. I didn't even pull it out of the box until three weeks later. I tested it for a few days and callef them at 30 day mark. They offered to send it in for me, I just handled it.
