Simple portrait

Just starting out with portraits, and photography in general. Recently bought YN560iii speedlights, and here's result of trying them out.

Very nice. I think you may have used slightly too large an aperture as there's noticeable softness appearing on the left (camera right) side of her face.

Lovely. I think that the aperture was slightly too open as tirediron stated, but the background really complements her skin tone and I like the post-processing.

I do think that there might be a little too much clarity High-Pass Filtering (if that's what you used) on her collar bone. My eye is drawn to the sharp contrast of it.
