I can't determine levels at photography or at anything actually... like what's a "beginner" "advanced beginner" "intermediate"

But I kind of always wanted to know at what level am I at a language... not sure if the answer would be helpful to me in any way but still

I watched the video, it was concise and I liked it. I hope someone will find it useful somehow...if not, well at least I spent some time in the beginners section of the forum because I don't recall spending any time in here

I think the message comes across thanks to the highest quality of the images. I think the amazing quality of the shots shows the real power of these simple rules. As for "fast and superficial", I think many photographers need just that. These are very simple rules, and I am really, really surprised how many intermediates, never mind beginners ignore it or are unable to properly implement it.

I agree - many do need that as a concise reminder. But for someone who is just learning, it might be too quick. That was my only point - that the usefulness of this video might not be the same for everyone depending on where they are in their learning. I would have liked a few more examples myself.

That may have been intentional.... to subliminally teach speed. Few of the images presented were staged or posed. They were basically, "you gotta think fast" type of shots to begin with.... stop and ponder and they're gone.
