Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Good evening everybody,

I am pretty new to photography and I want to buy a camera. I looked everywhere but there are so many cameras
to choose that I can’t decide. I would very appreciate it if you help me and I’ll be very thankful! To be honest my
wishes for a camera are a bit difficult I guess. I don’t want to make photos that look new but I want to take sixties
fashion photos. The colours and oldness have to be the same as the photos in the links below my message. I don’t
want to make photos that have just only a vintage colour but still look new. I want to take black/white photos and in
colour as well. So my question is what camera or lenses did the proffesional fashion photographers out the sixties use?
And how did they took that photos ? I have searched the whole internet but can’t find some information about it. I think t
hese days it’s hard to shoot with an analog camera so I think it’s the best to go for a digital one. I looked for the a digital camera
and I think I go for an second hand canon 550d because I haven’t thousand euro to spend. But If I buy that camera with a
nother lens do you think I can take the photos I want? I don’t mind to spend like 400 euro for the camera and a lens.

Thank you for reading this and sorry that my English is a bit bad

Kind regards charon

The photos you give links to are made using various different films. Those films each have their own 'look' of color, contrast and grain. Also those photos are then reproduced in magazines which each have their own way of deciding how to print and choosing paper too (if on the internet we see scans from old magazines). There is quite a lot of factors to copying the appearance of thse photos.

So do you want still to do this digital or do it with film? I think if you try to copy something so exactly, it fails or lacks soul. Borrow some aspects but do something new as well.
