Smoke Signals

Took a trip over to Hocking Hills yesterday with my wife for a little solitude, instead I found 6,000 people preparing for the 50th Annual Winter Hike... Guess that's what I get for not being "plugged in" as I had no idea that was going on. We decided to go to some other areas hoping to beat the crowds and found an empty Ash Cave where volunteers had built a fire for those finishing their hike. I caught this image of my wife standing next to the fire as the smoke funneled up through the sunlight. I am beginning to become a fan of people as subjects in my pictures.

Definitely.! They $dollar games kept us bust for hours! One of them remained missing..
