snowcapped SoCal mountains for c&c

The snow was gone from the scene I posted last week, but I walked around and found this scene. How are these for comp/exposure/interest?

umm. dont really get the first shot. the inteded subject seems to be tucked in the back corner of ur shot, hidden by trees. the second shot is better, but needs a bit of improving.

Looks soft and hazy. A polarizing filter would have been good. Also, the subject isn't clear. The mountain should take up the "majority" of the frame. As it stands now, the trees fill roughly half of the frame.
