Took some shots of a girl on my son's soccer team.

I think they turned out pretty good, but I'd like to hear other opinions....

The super big grin is her look! haha

The focus and depth look good. Her expression is kinda Stephen King-ish... I expect her to come after me with an icepick (well, in #1 anyway).

The highlights on her hair are good in #1 too - you used a flash? (chin shadow suggests tall hotshoe mounted flash) Good cross-lighting here..

Yes, I used my flash on my camera at full power...
The next thing I want to try to work on is what flash really does, but I'm just so lost on where to start. All I have right now is my built in flash, but I'm pretty sure I can adjust the amount of flash I use!
