Some shots from tonight

Tonight was my 1st 'official' photo shoot with someone other than family and friends. (I did them for free)The sun was HARSH! Most show with my 50mm at 100ISO 1/250 and 2.0-4.0/f. I had my husband maning the reflector/diffuser but still have alot of practice till we get it figured out. I want to learn so any C&C is welcomed! Thanks! Also, when I give her a cd of her photos is there a good a way to do it? Is 25-30 to many? There are some that I'm unsure of cropped v.s. not cropped, do I put both on it?

For what it is worth, I would pay for these! I am sure some others will find little tiny things they would fix, but overall these came out very nice. I really like the one where the little girl is reaching for the flower, because it looks like she wanted to do that on her own, and it wasnt staged.

Everyone has their opinion for good and bad. The one thing that really stuck out like a sore thumb is the color with the mom and baby. It looks like a direct flash? The skin tones look cool, not warm like the others. Some of the photos are soft. Some posing and composition work would make these photos pop.

I didnt use a flash at all, odd. Any suggestions on how changes I could to with posing/ composition to improve?

My add is kicking in, I can't go through each one in detail sorry. The best thing is to study other photos and first try to copy those shots. Learn from them and use that as a starting point. Look at poses, angles, exif settings all kinds of stuff. Once you get to that point, then experiment and be different.
