Well its worse. I was also a wedding photographer so I was not only in a lot of them, I shot a lot. Most likely I should have been shot a couple of more times but with a gun.

Okay, I'm new...im loud....im opinionated... im even obnoxious at times, but is that why no one comments on my pictures, or is it because they are so bad that there is no hope for them. Some do get a comment from Terri but a lot get a big goose egg, so what is it, don't want to help me improve so I will stop posting garbage.

Thanks for any replies I can really use the help here.... or maybe not if you are going to tell the truth.

As you are new you won't know that your complaint is not unusual. It is a fact in TPF that quite often posts are made that sink without a comment.
We've all suffered from it - and quite a few have had a public moan about it.
But it is the weekend and it tends to be quiet. Wait until people are back at work and bored. Then you'll get some comments

It happens, it's not the quality of your pictures :hug::. Bump until you get noticed. When you're new, people don't know your work, so you get bumped down by the people everyone looks forward to like.... (no examples!)... but you know what I mean. I have my favourites, and I look at them first, but I try to comment on as many as possible to keep the bump count fair. I also try to comment on the positive aspects of pictures which are perhaps not as strong as my perception of the average skill level. People need encouraging more than scolding (is my way of thinking).

Keep em coming and maybe try out the critique if you're feeling strong! (read the rules first though!).

You could try posting more of your stuff in the General gallery, or yes, even the Critique gallery if there is something specific you'd like critique on.

I'm of the mind your stuff might confuse a lot of people, so I think the Alt forum is still a good place. At least when people go there they expect to see something unusual.

I admit it gets lonely in there at times. There's a small group of us who just do what we do, and support and learn from each other.

That said, if you'd like to get more views, you should feel free to post anywhere you like.
