Sony W350 vs Canon SD1200

My Daughter is getting one of these two point-and-shoots tonight.. Her only desires are to have a great image stabilizer and good auto focus.

Any preferences or advice?

I would go for the Canon, I use an SD 1200, no complaints

i have a older cannon like it alot but got a sony dslr no complaint. both are good
