Spider EEEKKKK

[Close up and personal]

Considering I am scared of spiders, for some reason I have a need to photograph them. This picture actually gives me the eeby geeebys!!!!

Please let me know what you think. Could I have done it better?

1: Looks very scary! But for some reason I think that the photo isn't thát special, maybe you can try to stand before the spider
2: Very good photo, good composition and very sharp. I like it!
3: Very simple, but very beautifull! I also like this one. The contrast with the blue sky is very good

I really, really like that duck shot! Well done!

#3, to me, seems to have a bit too much sky at the bottom of the photo.

The spider is definitely a cool shot. I like how the branch has hairs like the ones on the spider's legs. I giess my only complaint is that the colors are a bit monotonous; the background is too similar to the color of the spider to have it really stand out.

And hey, I LIKE the spider-from-the-side photo, it is fairly up "close and personal", mostly so for someone who can't stand spiders! It could, of course, be even scarier if you had looked (pointed the camera, that is) from the front and into the spider's face, but spider-from-the-side - and mostly so in some GREEN surroundings lovey: .... GREEN!) is also good.

The spider has some excellent detail, but I would be tempted to tweak the levels a tad, and it's a shame you can't see the head.

I am also a spider hater but I braved myself to look. Nice photo but I can assure I would never get that close. They are just to creepy.

Let me see..

Cropped a little bit.
Selective coloring on yellows and blues.
Levels.
Brightness/ Contrast.
Noise reduction on neat image.
Un-sharp mask

I think thats it
