Looked like a fun set of people! Anyone I've had in direct sun not only give me the slit-eyes but look mean while doing it lol.

it was a miserable beach shoot.
a 45 minute drive from the church...because of the limo time limit, we only had 15 minutes total on the beach.
To make things worse, 15 minutes into the drive there the air conditioning in the limo stopped working.
It was a jump out of the cars, take a few pics, and jump back in kinda shoot.
personally, I was all for just skipping this part all together, buy the groom wanted some beach shots.
45 minute drive in a no A/C limo, 15 minutes on the beach, 30 minute drive to the restaurant where the reception was.

the bride and groom were not happy with the limo company at all.
I guess stuff happens....but it sucks when it happens on your wedding day.

The dresses blowing looks kind of cool, and conveys the windy day feeling pretty well. It does look VERY bright out there!

OMG...it was soooo hot. unbelievably though, it was threatening to rain the whole time. (according to the weather station) the sky was all gray even though the sun was out right on top of us. There was debate on even driving out there because we were afraid of getting hit with a summer shower. gotta love Florida.

a few more from the ridiculously short beach shoot. Wheres Manny212?? He'll tell you how chaotic that whole wedding was!!
all part of the job i guess. if you cant take the heat...and all that jazz.

in this group shot, just to give you an idea how narrow the beach is...we are photographing from the road.

Tough shoot - looks like you made lemonade out of lemons though.

eh...more like lemonaise...
but in all honestly, with all the problems on the beach, i am relatively pleased with the results.
I hate to use the "well, my clients were happy so that's all that matters" line, but they did really love the bridesmaids picture and the group photo.

highlights were the toughest challenge. thank goodness for Lightroom.

Ouch! Ya that is some **** luck for the bride & groom, bet she was a hot sweaty mess with that big dress on. Could be worse, I got a call from a couple this weekend (guessing they just googled photographers in the area and found my page) asking me if I could shoot their wedding... at 12noon that same day! Their photographer bailed on them at 9am the morning of and they were SOL. Now that sucks!
