Photos NOT OK to edit
ok I am posting this, not because I think it's an AMAZING picture, or because I think it has fantastic composition, or it's the sharpest or anything like that, but I took it with a rebel XTi at ISO1600, and it's not awful. I never thought I'd see the day when I had a usable picture at ISO1600. Anyway, all that being said, C&C is always welcome and you can click the pic for a larger view and pixel peep if you like.

Thanks for looking!

Wow, that is a great picture for that ISO, and a cool picture overall. I only used the 1600 ISO on my xti in low light and found it to perform poorly, but this is nice.

Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi
Exposure: 0.005 sec (1/200)
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 250 mm
ISO Speed: 1600

it was actually pretty low light... I have found that ISO1600 is acceptable as long as you follow 2 rules:
1. over-expose the picture and then bring it back a bit in post
2. make sure the picture doesn't have any solid black in it (IE night sky, black car, black clothing)

I still shy away from it, for sure though.
