2)Shadows under the stairs.



I really love #2, but I don't like it. It's hard to explain. I want to reshoot it, probably from a few more angles too. I was wondering what others may suggest to improve on it.

I love the pattern the shadow of the stairs makes against the brick. If you can, its worth going back at the same time of day and isolating those clashing patterns.

The first picture looks out of focus, which can work, but there is no definite subject in focus.

Think I like the last one you took the best, but the dark area on the bottom right is a bit distracting. Wonder how it would look with a little more detail there? Very nice geometric lines, though.

It does look a bit black, in the color version its not as obvious. I think I will take a crack at making that corner a bit brighter.
