Sorry but IMO the composition of cut most of the baby out does not work. Because it is missing the emotion connection between the two subjects

Good snapshot, but nothing artistic about it. I am sure the father would appreciate the photo, but it does little to show any emotion past that. The baby is too far in the corner.
