Thanks for taking the time to take a look. I have really been studying and practicing and I feel I have made improvement. I'm sure this is up for debate but figured I'd post a few and hopefully get some feedback. Hope everyone is well!!

Looks like the practice is paying off; these are some nice shots; good exposures, interesting compositions. 5 & 6 are definitely the money shots from this set. Well done.

Something I just want to point out is to be careful when selecting areas to process. I noticed in some of the photos especially#3 #6 and #7 it looks like you tried to select the face, adjusted the levels, but didn't evenly select the hair against the skin and there are some dark spots on the faces by the hair. Look at #3 on the child's forehead between her hair and face. The hair against the face in #2 on the Mom looks kind of choppy too.

Could just be me, but they look like the faces are soft. Maybe try linking through Flickr. I find photobuckets softens the images a lot.

Some really nice expression caught though!

3,4,5 are quite pleasing. #1 is not too bad either. You have come a long ways. They will be very happy with these pictures. There seems to be some kind of unusual chromatic aberration or "something" that is giving a sort of unusual "glow" on parts of these images...and yet, the emotion and connection shown in the pics is good, and overrides the technical issue....which sort of looks like some type of deliberate effect.
