I think I know why you are so unhappy with the majority of your cemetary photos - the weather was too nice for these to look anything like sombre. My one and only exploration of an old cemetary took place on a bright and sunny day, too, and afterwards I thought, boy, all those bright and shadowed parts. Bright parts blown out. Shadows all black.

But - this said, I think you chose a nice collection of six here, and the sun definitely helped you to get a good definition of details as shown in Photos 1 and 2, for example.

Photo 3 is very nicely composed, but you had to fight with the brightness of the angle's white in the sun, didn't you? You won! I say.

And then comes Photo 6, of course.
And that is ------------------------------- stunning.

I like them all except for number 4, but #1 and especially #6 are really fabolous.
Making them b&w was just the right decision.

6 is amazing! Could I be so bold as to suggest cropping out a bit more on the top? Until JUST above the tree on the right? I kept looking at it and for some reason it seems like it shifts the focal point into the top third area. Almost like you would do with someones eyes in a portrait.

Maybe it's just me. Love that picture though. Regardless.

I've been there again today and the sky was covered and of a nice creamy grey... so the pics are better... it think.
