It's hands-free, like you find in some businesses and rest stops. We figure it's great when working with raw chicken (or paint, in my case)

That was a tight fit - not a lot of wiggle room back there. Having to do the window sill notch must have made that job even more challenging!

Definitely an upgrade - looks great. I'm thinking about a new kitchen faucet in the near future - you're hired!

Went hiking Sunday. It may have been a short 2 mile hike to the summit but it was brutal. Pretty much a 30 percent incline the entire time. One section you basically needed to climb a rock face. It was well worth it though, stunning views I've never seen before. Guess what? It's only 8 minute drive from my house if I take a back road!

Got it, thanks. I haven't been that far north in VT. I did the Lye Brook Falls trail a few years ago when I went to Manchester.

It’s a short hike but man it’s pretty difficult. They said it was moderate difficulty but anything in Vermont or New England….moderate means difficult Hahaa

Hiya Folks! I had my own plumbing adventure recently. I had to replace a MixIt valve cartridge, easy enough, but an absolute pain to adjust properly. Because I'm not a plumber, and my critical thinking hat was at the cleaners, I removed the cartridge collar without turning off the water to the house... yep, that thing shot to the other side of the shower and I had to dash outside to turn off the water to the house. The plumber was at the house not long after that to investigate why water was mysteriously seeping up through the foundation. It was the wax seal on the toilet, so he replaced that. I asked him about adjusting the MixIt valve cartridge, and he quoted my $250.00. I decided I didn't need to adjust it that bad... that is just pure robbery, especially since the water was already off. I thought about doing myself while he was working, but with my luck he would have finished up and turned the water back on... oh well.

In other news, one of my voices talked one of my other voices off the ledge... I was contemplating selling my Canon 90D and all the lenses, but instead I ordered a Sirui tilt head for the monopod, and I'll just go birding with the 90D and the Sigma 150-600mm smooth bore canon with the monopod instead. I can't let age and loss of muscle definition deter me from what I love to do.

Agree about that $250 quote. They think they have you over a barrel and desperate enough to let yourself be robbed.

I was fortunate enough that it was a walk-in shower and I could close the door while I dashed outside. I'm just glad I wasn't directly in the line of fire when it blew.
