Morning y'all. Looks to be a wet, cold day for us. Guess it'll be inside chores for me today. Just as well as I've been a little under the weather the past few days anyhow. Ive been at that point where I've thought about going to the doctor, but haven't felt bad enough to go.

Good morning! Temps are in the 70's, sunny, windy, and on the humid side, but a whole lot better than 90's or 100's. Still dealing with the tail end of COVID, but doing much better than expected given what other folks have gone through. Looking forward to a quiet weekend.

Good news, then! Glad it seems to have been a mild case, all things considered. And you're out of the heat dome, finally - that's a welcome change.

Same here - rain moving in soon, and the weekend looks to be a washout.

In other news, we have tickets to the theater tomorrow night. Local stage (the best kind!). I bought us season tickets for the hubby's birthday, which will last until next June. Last month we went out to dinner first and walked to the theater, but it's going to be too gusty and wet for that, so we'll have dinner here and then scoot over.

So - Happy Friday, hosers! Anyone else have any fun weekend plans?

@terri when we lived in town, we went to a lot of the local theater productions, now seems like we forget. We've taken Lil'Bit to the stage production of Little Mermaid and Frozen. She loved them, I was concerned she'd get antsy during the show, but it kept her attention the whole time.

Fantastic 3 day weekend coming up for me! My kind of temps and some clouds!! Going to try to sand and stain the deck like someone else mentioned above and we are taking down the big pool on Saturday. Hoping to get a smaller one and a hot tub instead next year. Sunday and Monday I’ll be out there leaf peeping.
