Comments welcome guys :)

... Please be nice...

Comments welcome guys :)
Do you want constructive comments to help you improve your photography, or just a bunch of people to say, "Oh, wow! Great shot!"? Requesting people to "be nice" is NOT going to help you improve, because it gives the impression that you will be offended by any sort of negative comment.

The request for being nice is incongruent with welcoming comments.

Nice DoF experiment.

What I think you are wanting to do is create the feeling of depth. Problem is, only a small portion of it is in sharp focus. To correct this in the future you need to use the smallest Fstop you can handhold. Like f22 etc and not with the lens wide open like 3.5 etc. This will put everything into acceptable focus. As for composition and lighting, that will come later when you master the camera.

The fence is a lovely shade of green. It stands out nicely against the brown surroundings.

I think you took the please be nice part the way I didn't mean for it to be took.
I will not be offended by anything you wish to say.

I will not use that phrase in future posts

Good call if you want serious critique. There are a lot of people who post an image here thinking that it's wonderful, only to be told, that it isn't quite as good as they thought, and then ensues a "You hurt my feelings" rant. As far as your image goes, some good comments already. I will add that it seems slightly under-exposed, maybe 1/3 - 1/2 stop, and I'm not really seeing a clearly defined subject. The fence is interesting, and works as a leading line to guide the eye further into the image, but once it gets there, there's not a lot to see... It needs "something" in the vicinity of those two trees to really hold the viewers attention. Good start, welcome to the forum!

Yeah, It's just a way of speaking where i'm from, not meant to be took too seriously, I understand people will give constructive critiscism, I'm here to get those comments and learn more to become better. Thanks for your comments I will take that along next time I go out with my camera.
