Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
It was colddddddd, as in 2 degrees with windchill cold. 35mph winds with 45 mph gusts off the ocean....I could only get out of my car for 5 minutes at a time before I lost feeling in my hands, and because I was standing on ice everywhere I went, the wind almost knocked me down like 6 times

1. A mustang, a pair of aviators, and a sunset...

You know, I was actually going to delete #3. When I first saw it I was like, "Hmmm, tree getting in the way of the chapel, suckssssss!" But something about the way the tree, the sky and the clouds came together made me keep it. Glad I did  Although my personal favorite is still number 2!

Awesome subject matter, and the photos are pretty good but I can see that they looked slightly rushed, no doubt due to you being freezing. For example, I think #3 would have been a really excellent photo if you kneeled down a bit and used the tree to frame the church, rather than partly obscure it. The sun flare on #2 and #4 is a bit bothersome to my eye. If you had more time on your side you could have waited for the sun to partly go behind the cloud to help combat this.

Yup, rushed isn't the word  I'm no wuss, but let me tell ya', that was just plain freakin' COLD! The 45mph gusts were coming straight off the ocean and with nothing to act as a barrier, it was absolutely nuts! Snow dust and water was being sprayed everywhere. It was so cold, the ocean was actually a bunch of ice chunks for a good half mile and the inlet side consisted of a bunch of ice chunks flowing down river. There were even harbor seals spotted a day earlier floating on the ice chunks down the inlet, and this is New Jersey, we don't have harbor seals! I was happy just to have some sharp shots, as my lens hood might as well have been an umbrella, all it was doing was getting blown around by the non-stop winds. By the time I got to the last picture, I was having a hard time standing because my legs were getting weak, like cant feel the muscles or bones in your legs cold. Almost felt like standing on your legs when they've fallen asleep. Oh yeah, did I mention I forgot to bring gloves! That had me really messed up....

The sun flare is due to my lens, its the Nikon 17-55 2.8, also known as the king of flare, lol.....that thing flares anytime the sun is up past the horizon! haha...

But enough of my complaining, lol....I'll hopefully get a chance to reshoot shortly, and with any luck, it'll be a tad warmer and I'll remember some freaking gloves!

EDIT: It seems as though the weather is supposed to remain the same. This time I'll get a video to show just how windy and cold it is, I can be like the weather channel reporters in the middle of a hurricane, you'll see me standing still but getting blown backwards as the wind pushes me across the ice and rips the beanie winter hat off my head! lol....

If this is cold weather for you, dont move here in Quebec  -21 f here this morning,
Nice set of pic

I like #3, but it looks a bit to centered to me, if you could have shot that from a different angle it would have been excellent ,, but for shooting through a car window I believe you done pretty well on all of them:thumbup:

I love the building, kinda wish you had shot it in HDR from a lower point of view, but otherwise I love the wide angle and the composition is sound man. Good work

Thanks everybody!
