Oops... Is this a good time to point out that it's 11 degrees and sunny here? That I've just spent that last 90 minutes field-stripping and scrubbing my barbecue? That in about an hour I'm going to use to cook a nice chunk o' steak?

OOPS! In MN we say, "Hung Up". IE: "I got hung up in a snow bank". A slight delay in plans. You may have to go back and forth a few times and/or get a push. You laugh about it, and on your way in quick time.

"Stuck", is completely different. That's when you're 30 or 40 feet off the roadway, through the farmers fence and not a chance of getting out without professional help. That's stuck! I plead the fifth. It was a total white out. Lol.

Here on the south coast uk it would be
Er what’s the white stuff, PANIC
Years ago having just learnt to drive I was out in the snow, I got #hung up# I drove into a snow bank
all 4 wheels off the road, I used a near by lamp post and a Spanish windlass to wind the car out of the snow.
