The San Diego Zoo

I went to the San Diego Zoo while my family was down since I hadn't been yet and I heard good things. I wasn't disappointed.

"If you do something and don't Instagram it, did you really do it at all?"

The San Diego Zoo houses three Giant Pandas. There are only about 1000 Giant Pandas left in the wild and 100 housed in zoos. Only a few can be found in American zoos, since they are watched very closely by China. Recently, one of the pandas at the San Diego Zoo gave birth to a healthy cub, which is a huge deal considering their endangered status.

I have been several times along with the Safari Park. For some reason, I have never been to the Los Angeles Zoo.

Thanks! I actually liked the San Diego Zoo better than LA. There were more exhibits and they were all open. Plus San Diego's Zoo is in Balboa Park, which has museums and gardens everywhere, so there's never a shortage of things to do.
