Couldn't decide whether to put this in the nature section or here.

Two pictures of a stream I took today. It was a tiny stream, a brook really and drop offs were the only place that had enough motion to do a long exposure. Not sure which one I like better so I posted both.

In each case, the blurred water is hardly showing up -- I guess there wasn't enough motion to really get air bubbles flowing, so it's mostly transparent.

I prefer the first one, but both of them are framed a bit oddly. The focus seems to be on the waterfall, but the second one has a lot of still water and distant leaves in it. The first definitely has more interest -- the leaves are interesting, especially with the clear water going over them -- but I do feel like the water is falling into nothingness at the bottom.

Those are my first thoughts -- take them or leave them as you will!

Mmm, good points dcclark. I am noticing now the water looks a bit odd being cut off like that.
