The things kids say...

Oh god, my girlfriends daughter says some hilarious stuff. My girlfriend has had an ongoing shoulder injury that she still gets massages for every once and a whild. One night her shoulder was hurting a little more than usual and her daughter said she would give her a massage. She ran out of the room looking for something and came back a minute later with a kleenex. We both asked her what the kleenex was for and she said she was going to give her mom a deep tissue massage...

I have LOTS of these, like the time that my sister was babysitting my kids, who were then probably about 2 and 4. The 2 year-old was eating spinach (which was, oddly, one of the my kids' absolute favorite foods!). My sister didn't realize that he was chewing, but not swallowing until he had this huge glob of spinach in his mouth and started to choke on it. My sister (while helping get all that spinach out of his mouth) said, "Hey, no choking allowed!" to which the 4 year old replied, "yeah, Sean. Choke quietly." :lmao:

But I think my very favorite was the time my niece was over at her grandmother's and overheard an adult conversation about the fact that her grandmother's toilet had stopped up and the plumber had determined that some tree roots had broken through the line and grown up into the sewer line. I guess it was said something like "there were roots down in the line," because my niece (probably about 5 at the time) looked shocked and said, "Well, WHO pooped ROOTS???"

Soooo...I may have accidentally reported this post. The triangle is how you "like" a post in another forum I'm a part of. That didn't look right so I just backed out and then found the like button. Sorry if you get a shakedown by the mods

:lmao: It's all good. I've very nearly done the same thing myself before. The mods are pretty good about checking things out *before* they go pm'ing threats...although mish may decide to ban me just for the fun of it...nah, she knows she'd miss my charming wit too much. :biglaugh:
