The Wife

We were at Universal Studios yesterday, and I shot this photo which I softened and sepia'd (a little). I love the shot, but she isn't very fond of it. {shrug}

Such a serious expression! I can see why she might not like it. I bet her face lights up when she smiles, doesn't it?

Im sure shes a fan of being called "the wife" too I love the catch lights.

I think it's a very good portrait, but I can see where as the subject she might not like it becuase the expression probably isn't her most flattering.

The expression is one I liked because it showed her in a more pensive moment.

And, actually, she takes great pride in being called "the wife". She even signs some emails to our circle of friends that way.

I showed her the finished image, and she is a little more "OK" with it, since I softened it up. I have another where she's smiling. I will try and post that one as a comparison.
