Overall you have a lot of exposure and focus problems. Only about every third photo follows the rule of thirds weird. So watch your composition. Post your 3 BEST pics.

I really like the concepts and editing of most of your pictures. The composition for the most part is really good. Like was said above, take some more time before you shoot and make sure you get your subject in focus. This will dramatically improve these pictures (if you have to, use a tripod). For people, make sure you focus on the eyes.

I think the exposure is off on the first two... I would think some fill light would help bring out dad's face under the cap, without having to blow any parts out.

I LOVE the sparkler! I might have to let my son play some more tomorrow and try one of those.
