I really like this. I like the DOF and the exposure. It's an intriguing composition; the dark and dirty basement-like background is unusual for a child portrait, yet the child appears happy and healthy in her clean t-shirt. I think a plain t-shirt would have been a better choice.

I like it. It would have been better if his hair wouldn't cover one eye. I think if he would have looked either to the right or towards the camera it would have been even better.
