1. Seems like you missed the focus. It appears to be on the feathers on the back. Also, parts are slightly over and under exposed. Try touching them up in post.

2. Really has potential. Try shooting more towards the "golden hours" of sunlight--up to approximately an hour after sunrise or an hour before sunset, or on an overcast day. That will help to reduce the harsh shadows. I also wish I could see the sides of the wheel. Maybe try backing up a little and cropping to a 4x5 aspect?

3. Good capture, but I'm not too keen on the heavy vignette. A slight vignette would work with this one, so just try toning it down a little.

Hope this helps!

2 and 3 for me. However they are all a little too saturated for me. Sorry.

First time i saw this kind of piece the first thing that came into my mind is to paint like this one.

love#2 - you should experiment with black & white

Thanks for the replies everyone, all opinions do help!

This is the kind of help i'm looking for.

Thanks for your comment,ChevyBaby

For the most-part I can get a documentary type photo, but what i need in-site with is,artistic type photos, which is what I was striving for with these. They are heavy on the saturation...A-Little...??and the vignette is a touch heavy.I see that now, thanks
but what about pov, especially #2 ,would it have been better, closer, to high-light the woodgrain? or pull back as littleMike suggest for a more balanced photo?
