O my they are too much !!! what personality shines through... and such perfection in each photo

#3 is hilarious! He is not happy!

And people think I'm mistreating Sadie. LOL Great set, love the expression in #2. I think in dog speak it means &%$#$^&%$# or something to that effect.

I think the correct translation is, "If there isn't a BIG treat waiting for me after this, someone better be REALLY careful putting on their slippers!"

Quite well done.

Great portraits - love the serious expressions - looks like formal Edwardian portraiture

Thanks! They are the party animal grumpy bunch :)

Thanks! #3 Snickers is the alpha. He sat for the test shots and he was getting tired.

Well done! Love the personality that shines through.
Thanks! They know the drill that biscuits when the camera comes out.

I overheard the schnauzers talking that Sadie's agent will be asking for more treats & belly rubs.

These are fantastic! I could never get Holly to sit still long enough.
When I started shooting their portraits a few years ago it was on a small step stool. For a week I had them sit and stay then treat. Each day longer and longer. There have been times they did not want to cooperate and I don't push them. I just try later in the day or the next. Having them sit on something helps. This time I used a metal tub with a blanket. It gave more area to sit than the little foot stool.

Quite well done.
Thank you Derrel!

Thanks! When treats are involved it is serious :) #2 Quincy has a natural resting snark face. When friends come over some have asked why is he mad. That is just his expression.

Great pics! Their expressions tell me they're all thinking, "Ok, but just hurry with it before anyone sees us looking so silly, this is embarrassing!"

Super cute! Amazing how they sit still for you.
