Tips on car photography

Hi, I've seen amazing photos of cars on this forum. So I was wanting to know some tips on how to take photos of cars. Right now I don't have a DSLR camera (Lumia 720 and a Sony Bloggie) so I can't really adjust the settings that much.

Just remember the basics:

Cars being large objects require adequate lighting
And being reflective, you should watch for distracting reflections
Isolate the car and pay attention to the backgrounds

Most of the great car shots you've seen were probably done with an extensive lighting kit and in front of a green screen with the beautiful background added later. My favorite ones are originally taken in the front lot of a dealer and they miss something seen through a window of the car when they change the background.
