Oh, I don't know. There's only about 120 to go, and still several weeks. Bitter just needs to be his normal charming self...maybe we should have a Like-fest thread on New Year's Eve...

I understand CC and yes my feelings got hurt but it was mostly people putting me down instead helping. Thank you I hope this site will help me I didnt know about it until today when people told me why I was getting all the negative feedback. People have been pretty honest if they liked my work or not and some have given CC that really helped me but none like what happened to me today and last night. But thank you all for welcoming me.

IMHO I didn't see anyone putting you down. I only saw people telling you what technically was wrong with the way you either posed, or exposed a photo. If that's putting you down then your going to need to work on how to take and use CC some are better at saying it without it not coming off as being so harsh. In the photo where the girls panties were showing Charlie was not calling her fat he was saying the way you shot her made it appear that her legs looked bigger than they really were. You made her look bigger than she is it's your job as the photographer to maker her look her best. It's hard to not feel like your not personally being attacked when your work is being torn apart, but again I don't think anyone was putting you down for what that's worth. I do think you need to rethink the whole being in business until you can do it where you are paying your taxes, licensing, and insurance, but that's your business not mine.

Context clues are telling me that someone... The OP, I presume, posted something slandering another photographer, this Mechelle I presume... and OP got caught. And Mechelle's feelings got hurt? And now OP is mad that someone told Mechelle that she posted the slandering thread on a public forum?

Good stuff...

ANYWAY...

To the OP: I agree with everything Derrel stated (Holy sh*t, I know! Don't pass out now...), and in addition to that I'd like to advise, next time you decide to do that, be aware that when you're linking to almost anything outside of Facebook... chances are people are able to see through stats in their site back-end where the link referrals are coming from... So those people won't even NEED someone to tell them you posted their link... they'll find out for themselves. Just cause we be on the interwebz doesn't mean we can hide our actions................

To Mechelle: Welcome And as others have stated... put your big girl panties on... cause critique abounds here. Some of it is tastefully put... some of it is... not so tastefully put... but no matter HOW it's stated... most of the time you can learn something from it. You've put yourself onto a career path that attracts criticism whether you like it or not... whether it's publicly posted or not... so start thickening your skin now. And it happens on ALL skill levels... from the completely amateur, to the famously professional. I'm part of a few Nashville photography forums on Facebook that hold some of the big name shooters and you should SEE some of the drama that happens in there...

It'll never go away. You just gotta keep your chin up, accept criticism graciously, even if it wasn't graciously given, say thank you, learn from it, move on, work hard, get better, rinse and repeat. :hug::
