I started scrolling to see the rest of the image and was thoroughly disappointed...

to elaborate on this, this is what I was expecting:

I do have a full body shot, but the location wasn't ideal. She was actually sitting on an upside down canoe behind the gym at school.. Haha.

Personally I think the use of light could have been played round with a little more.

I agree 100%. I have a fear of harsh shadows, so I tend towards flat lighting. But that's alright, I'll get better eventually..
