Travelers Be Warned

[Snakeguy101]

Nearly stepped on this gorgeous beast while out on a hike looking for trees. Funny how you can go out looking for one thing and never find it until you are not paying attention and looking for something completely different. Anyways, here she is, a gorgeous bright yellow 4' female Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake (Crotalus adamanteus).

I had a friend contact me and ask if he could use this as a part of his wildlife removal company's advertisements so this image will be wrapped around his fleet of 10 trucks and will be posted to a billboard off of I-75. This is the first time my work is being used commercially and I am extremely proud of it and thought I would share my excitement here.

Is this 100% crop? Great shot btw..... not sure if this will scare people away as a truck graphic regardless what the nature of the business is.

That is a really cool pic of a Rattler

Great Pic! How far away from the snake were you?

Congratulations

It was not cropped at all, I was about 5 or 6' away and I used my cruddy 70-300mm f/5.6 lens on my Nikon D80.

And thanks for the compliments.
