Tree and sun for C&C

[Compaq]

This is perhaps one of Norway's most photographed trees, and happen to study less than 1 km from it. So, really getting a unique shot is hard, as so many photograph it. Later in the winter, the sun sets just behind it. Anyway, here's one from a sunny summer's day. Perhaps I'll try for shots of this tree each season? What do you think of this one?
I know, there's some slight halo around the tree.

Very nice, I think though it might be even stronger if you had your empty space image right vice image left. The sun and bright grass foreground really pulls my eye that way, but it's right at the edge of the frame.

Funny thing: that's a compliment to the tree, but not to the photograph of it

Already noted, but nice to other people are noticing it. That means it glows too much.
