Tripod recommendations

Well my last tripod was great. A little wobbly but if I hung my camera bag on the hook it was fine.

It cost about $40. It lasted a year, until I had to use it as a shovel. It was life or death.

That Befree looks pretty good for the price, but this: "The Manfrotto Befree has a maximum payload 4 kg (8,8 lb)" is worrisome.

Humm what camera youre using? My 5DMK2 with battery grip + 580ex II flash works fine on my current Manfrotto 7322YB that handle 4.4lbs max load for 2yrs now. I just upgrade it to the befree is .5lb heavier and double the capacity so it will works fine with my 5dmkii.

For the record, I purchased a MeFoto Roadtripper. I liked the monopod. I think I will use that a lot.
