Tripods

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum can people recommend strong, sturdy tripod for long exposure photography at a price around $350 AUD ($260 USD).

Welcome to TPF! There are probably a thousand "What tripod" threads here, so for more detail, the search feature is your friend. In general, look to the used market as you get a LOT more for your dollar there. Choose a tripod & head combination that will support at least twice the weight of your heaviest lens/body combo, and is tall enough for you to use comfortably without the center column extended. Names such as Really Right Stuff, Gitzo, Manfrotto and Benro will stand you in good stead.
