trying to resize a photo....

ok I have been trying to resize this photo for a while now....
it is 5.6MB just a tad bit 2 big to upload to flickr.
I have nikon pic perfect and picasa2...will be getting photoshop elements 5.0 soon.
big mike said that you could resize in picasa but for the life of me I can;t do it. so if any one knows how to do it or another easy way to resize let me know

I use photoshop. Not sure how to do it any other way, sorry.

I don't have Picasa here at work but if I remember correctly, I believe you go to File,Export and then you can pick the size.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
