1 is a nice shot, well composed, and exposed. Seems sharp enough on my crappy work monitor, but 2 is excellent! I love the sense of power and mood from it. I would think about a reshoot with a different background though; this one doesn't really work with the subject.

2nd picture, tell her to lower her chin, also raise her guarding hand, it should be high enough to cover her jaw/ear area. fist could be a bit more on a 45o angle =)

Au Contraire! It goes along with the perception I have of her in the first photo, her being lithe and agile looking.
