thanks very much...

To be honest, it doesn't do a lot for me. You've got a blank, featureless sky as a background, and there's no discernable subject. Because of that, and the amount of detail, there's really nowhere for the eye to settle. There's potential for macro/close-up work, but as-is, I don't get much out of it.

I agree. The lighting isnt the greatest also. Makes everything drab. Work on your composition. Maybe shoot part of the tree instead of trying to show it all. Sometimes less is more. Also, dont be afraid to come back in different lighting. A pro nature photographer may wait days for the right time to shoot a subject. Sometimes that patience and planning is the only difference between the guy that gets the lackluster shots and the guy that gets the great shots.

thanks very much.. it is somewhat of an overcast morning here.. and i believe that it does definitly play a big part.. the pics look alot better before i posted on the forum... but it just shows me.. they need to look awesome to stay awesome when you post on a forum.. thanks for tips.. i will be patient..

Well if posting them is degrading them perhaps there is another issue in your processing and saving and uploading that is causing that. This doesnt take away from the need for composition, but may help in the area of beig too drab.
