U.S. Pipeworks, Chattanooga, TN...

I spent a week and a half in Chattanooga studying real estate photography with a friend of mine.

Once my eyes started glazing over from doing that for umpteen hours a day, we wet out to an old, abandoned factory; U.S. Pipeworks. A great place to shoot, and it's pretty huge. You do need permission to enter, though, which my buddy had secured.

This is an 8 exposure HDR I shot that day:

Pretty neat. I might try crop a little more. Lots of empty space at the top.

I thought about that, and gave it a try, and I actually prefer the version with a lot of "dead space" up top...

Well, it was eight exposures aimed directly into the sun.

I kinda' sorta' figured this would be the result.
