Great set of photos :)

YOU took some of the photos in Tony's album? Wow. Which ones?

But the black+white photo from inside St. Mary's is your photo all right, Tony, isn't it? I like that one soooooooooo much!!!!

Well, I'll now go flood the Day-2-thread with more photos of mine, heeheeheehee :D.

yeah those were Tony's I love them...
mine pic is of Rob, the black and white with a cigarette. I'm ot sure about another of Rob, b&w too... it might be Tony's, I don't remember now. but the one with cigarette is definitely mine :)

The results that his lens gets are awesome, aren't they? I am quite taken in by the portraits! I like Tony's so very, very much! (He even got two nice ones of me, and so did you, not like this Hertz-guy here............. :D) I wonder what my sister will have achieved on film. Usually she is quite good at portraits (from a distance, with the 300mm lens), too. But I have never seen such brilliance and clarity in photos before, like there is in Tony's! Hopefully my sister will soon send me her prints in the mail!

No worries, Mentos. They did not ARRIVE one after the other!! I squeezed my post inbetween! :D

And hey, today is the day when I can get the prints from the film I took with Rob's camera... how could I forget about it! I'm off..... must dash! To the drugstore. Ta-daaa!

yeah the lens is amazing! It was the first time I played with 50 mm... I've seen the results before but they were not as good as those... and to be honest I do like a pic of Rob (http://www.artzam.com/cpg132/albums/slides/t11.jpg) it might look nicelya s a poster on a wall :)

I should think the rest of the forum is getting a bit bored with these threads now but I love seeing the photos other people took!

I too am picking up my films later today and can't wait to get some of them up here! Meanwhile keep posting your pics because I'm sure I'm not the only one in our group when I say I'd love to see all of them!:D

P.S Tony's album is excellent!

Methinks you like that whole Rob-person ;););););).

And yes, when I first saw this portrait I thought: Hey now, this is a NICE one! Really good!!!!

Chris, I do like to look through those pics too :) The meet-up was really great and I won't forget it :)

Corinna - yeah I like "that whole Rob-person" :) he is a very friendly and kind guy :)
And did I mention that I like "that whole Rob-person's car" ?? :D heheheh

btw today I've seen the same car here! But it was black and without this crazy navigation-woman :) or she was turned off. It only drew the arrows where you should go, but I'm sure that it was as crazy as Rob's :)

Chris!!! I wanna see your pics!!! come on!!!! post them ASAP

Yeah, a lot of those are by Mentos, if you look at the montage you made of her Corinna, it's my cam in her hands.

Must say though, I don't often use the 50mm, but after seeing the results of it, I think that it's going to be getting a whole lot more use - it's the cheapest lens I have as well. :D

Tempra, I liked the feel of your camera the best. So much so, I'm probably going to buy one when I'm over in NYC soon. Crikey, talk about turning to the dark side - going both digital and canon?! Still for $800 ish I suppose I can't go too wrong!

Lafoto, I hope that my Pentax did the job for you ok, it's a great little camera. The film I gave you wasn't the best in the world, but hey, hopefully something will come out!

Thanks for asking and yes, "something" did come out, but I was sooooo insecure in my use of it, and felt it (!), that I knew even upon taking my pictures that most of them would be for the snapshot-forum only. And now I find that I was right. Christiane took the last 11 for me and ... her pictures, so I feel, are much better than mine! Apparently, she still knows BETTER what she is doing than I do! Thank you for lending me your little Pentax, anyway, it makes me look so much "wholer" on you own market square photo which shows Mentos and myself ;).
