Well, it may be the case (is for me, I must admit), but somehow, when you have reached a certain level, the Galleries should be the place for you to go and thus leave the Beginners' Forum to the beginners. But I'm not ordering anyone around, I'm saying this as member, not as mod, that Bitter Jeweler is way beyond being a BEGINNER. Waaay beyond!

Yeah, it's funny, I still feel like a beginer, and certainly not waaay beyond. I am still learning technical stuff. I'll probably go to that "other" forum, that has *one* critique section. It'll just take time to make new friends and enemies.

I see why you think that, but these are Masts from the Tall Ships. The sails attach to the wooden hoops.

The other triptych is compositional sections taken from a close up of an anchor.

I am surprised nobody pointed out that the ropes in the third image (324) are OOF. I am rather upset that I didn't notice that and increase my aperture. I feel it really brings the image down.
